Newton County E-911 had a great time visiting Ms. Lana Kay and Ms. Audrey's first grade classes (at Newton County Elementary School) and spending the day with some very smart Little Cougars!

Our Dispatchers, Brooke Hanner, Maddie Klobe, and Jessica McElhenney, along with Ryan Hanner from Newton County EMA, talked with students about how and when to call 911. They've also been working hard learning their home addresses, which is a huge step in staying safe during an emergency.

Their class treated us with the sweetest surprise, goodie bags and colored pictures from the students!! Y'all truly made our day!!

We also stopped by to see Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Jennifer, and Ms. Taylor's kindergarten class. It was so good getting to visit with them as well.
